We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced concrete worker who wants to educate the future skilled workers in concrete and building construction.

About the role

As an educator in concrete work, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on training that combines theory and practice. You will work closely with participants/students and contribute to developing their professional competence, safety awareness, and understanding of the construction process.

The training includes both classroom instruction and guidance in practical moments as well as workplace-based learning (LIA).

Responsibilities

• Teach concrete work and building construction, from basic to advanced level

• Convey knowledge about the construction process, professional roles, and collaboration on construction sites

• Guide practical moments in concrete structures such as foundations, walls, columns, and slabs on grade

• Teach reading blueprints, work descriptions, and quality requirements

• Ensure compliance with work environment, safety, and industry standards

• Work with documentation, self-checks, and quality follow-up

• Integrate sustainable and environmentally friendly construction into teaching

• Guide participants during their LIA/practice periods

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a concrete worker in the construction and civil engineering industry

• Good knowledge of concrete materials, structures, and working methods

• Experience of independent work and responsibility in construction projects

• Good understanding of work environment legislation and safety work

• Meritorious with experience in mentoring, education, or leadership roles

• Pedagogical ability or willingness to develop as an educator
